Job Summary
The Revenue Cycle Project Manager is a highly experienced professional responsible for coordinating and managing multiple, complex Oracle Health (Cerner) Revenue Cycle projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization. This role requires strong project management discipline, excellent follow-through, and sound judgment in balancing scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager must be able to plan, organize, and deliver while navigating ambiguity, maintaining attention to detail, and communicating clearly with all levels of the organization - from technical teams to senior leadership. The ideal candidate demonstrates emotional intelligence, discernment, and accountability, ensuring projects stay on track, stakeholders stay informed, and organizational objectives are consistently met.

This role requires strong project management discipline, excellent follow-through, and sound judgment in balancing scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager must be able to plan, organize, and deliver while navigating ambiguity, maintaining attention to detail, and communicating clearly with all levels of the organization - from technical teams to senior leadership. Essential Functions
- Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple concurrent Revenue Cycle projects, ensuring timely, high- quality delivery within established scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project plans using Smartsheet and other project management tools, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders-including hospital executives, clinicians, analysts, and vendors-to ensure alignment, effective communication, and project clarity. Utilize project management tools to centralize project information, enhance team collaboration, and support reporting needs.
- Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions effectively, preparing clear and concise executive summaries, presentations, and progress reports for leadership and project teams.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and follow-up skills, tracking all tasks, deliverables, and action items through completion to maintain accountability and project momentum.
- Apply CHS project management methodology, standards, and governance processes to ensure consistency, documentation quality, and compliance with organizational expectations.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, using discernment to determine appropriate escalation and resolution paths.
- Exercise sound judgment and adaptability in managing ambiguity, shifting priorities, and complex decision-making environments.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and accessible project documentation including charters, plans, meeting minutes, issue logs, and status reports.
- Facilitate effective project meetings that promote clarity, collaboration, and accountability while keeping projects on track.
- Partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows and promote continuous improvement within project processes and revenue cycle operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and communication, ensuring project teams remain informed, engaged, and focused on shared outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years managing large-scale healthcare or revenue cycle system
projects. - Proven experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Patient Accounting) or equivalent EHR revenue cycle platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, coordination, and time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all organizational levels.
- Experience working in matrixed environments, managing vendor and internal team coordination.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, applying structure and process to complex project challenges.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycle frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Proficient in project portfolio tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Skilled in facilitating collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to executives, sponsors, and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Proactive and solution-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred
- CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) certification
