Essential Functions
- Completes accurate and timely reconciliation of various SSC and vendor processes through accounts receivable analysis.
- Completes tasks related to Medhost support, such as: Net Down, Reclass, Log Reconciliation, etc.
- Uses working knowledge of insurance payors, including: understanding of deductibles, coinsurance, contractuals and denials and correctness of adjustment transactions in both host systems.
- Assists with tasks outside of normal scope by adapting and prioritizing workflow.
- Remains compliant with SSC, CHS and compliance policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- H.S. Diploma or GED High School Degree or Equivalent required
- Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or Finance preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle or business office required
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or business office preferred
- Knowledge of Word Processing and Database software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
