The Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst supports enterprise data integrity by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical business data across systems. This role serves as a key contributor to maintaining a "single source of truth" by performing data validation, cleansing, and standardization activities.
The MDM Analyst partners with Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, support reporting needs, and uphold data governance standards. This position plays an important role in supporting system integrations, data migrations, and ongoing data quality initiatives within a complex, multi-system environment.

The MDM Analyst collaborates with stakeholders across departments to develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations, while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. This role contributes to data governance and data management efforts by supporting data quality initiatives, maintaining reliable datasets, and assisting in the development of reporting and analytics solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Essential Functions
- Gathers, cleanses, and prepares data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of datasets.
- Writes and executes SQL queries or utilizes other tools to extract, transform, and analyze data for reporting and operational needs.
- Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
- Conducts descriptive and exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs, define data requirements, and deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
- Ensures data accuracy and integrity by identifying data quality issues, performing validation and reconciliation activities, and resolving discrepancies with appropriate stakeholders.
- Supports data governance and data management initiatives, including maintaining data standards, documentation, and contributing to consistent and reliable data across systems.
- Assists in data-related projects such as system implementations, data migrations, reporting enhancements, and access management activities.
- Communicates findings and insights through clear documentation, visualizations, and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manages multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required
- 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, data governance, or related functions required
- Experience working with large or complex datasets, including data extraction, validation, and transformation using SQL or similar tools preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare environment or with enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, ERP, EHR, or similar platforms) preferred
- Experience supporting data quality, data governance, or data management initiatives, including data validation, cleansing, and standardization processes preferred
- Experience supporting master data management (MDM) processes, including data standardization, governance, and lifecycle management preferred
- Experience supporting data integrity initiatives across multiple systems or business units preferred
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis in a multi-system environment preferred
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights.
- Understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data validation techniques.
- Ability to identify data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and support data standardization efforts.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with data management processes, reporting frameworks, and enterprise data environments preferred.
- Relevant certifications in data management, analytics, or process improvement (e.g., CDMP, Six Sigma, CSCP) preferred
