Job Summary

The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for managing and executing a wide range of human resource functions to support organizational goals and foster a positive work environment. This role serves as a strategic partner to employees and leadership, providing expertise in employee relations, talent development, performance management, and HR policy implementation.

Essential Functions
  • Provides guidance and consultation to employees and leaders on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and legal compliance.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements HR policies and procedures, providing coaching and training to employees and managers as needed.
  • Manages HR staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and termination processes.
  • Oversees performance evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and facilitating leader coaching for effective evaluations.
  • Designs and executes leadership and employee development programs, including training, coaching, and recognition initiatives.
  • Leads organizational change initiatives, such as reduction-in-force (RIF) planning, outsourcing/insourcing recommendations, and managing third-party HR service providers.
  • Analyzes HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership for workforce planning and process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in human resources, including employee relations, performance management, and leadership development required
  • 1-3 years of experience managing a team of HR professionals preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools, as well as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
Licenses and Certifications
  • SHRM-CP preferred or
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
