The Financial Analyst, Associate is responsible for supporting financial data analysis, reporting, and operational metrics. This role involves generating and maintaining key performance metrics, conducting variance analysis, and supporting ad hoc reporting needs. The Financial Analyst, Associate collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of financial and operational data and provides insights to drive informed decision-making.
Essential Functions
- Supports data needs and analysis for various corporate departments, including Accounts Receivable, Operations, and other units as needed.
- Develops, evaluates, and reports on key performance metrics, including financial, utilization, satisfaction, and operational data, ensuring compliance with both internal and contractual requirements.
- Produces daily, monthly, and annual statistical reports, analyzing variances and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
- Ensures quality assurance of reported data through effective reconciliation processes.
- Maintains data integrity in financial and practice management systems, identifying and addressing data discrepancies in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Provides ad hoc analyses and reporting based on internal and external customer requests, supporting customer relationships and new account implementations.
- Participates in departmental project workgroups, contributing to process improvements and the implementation of new financial tools or systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Equivalent combinations of education and financial analysis experience may be considered
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within healthcare, focusing on data analysis, accounts receivable, revenue, and claims data required
- Experience with financial reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, McKesson HPM, SAP Business Objects, or similar systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel, including experience with formulas, macros, and VBA.
- Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle for database queries and data extraction.
- Experience with financial systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present data insights.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
