Job Summary

The Director, Workforce Management (WFM) provides strategic and operational leadership for enterprise-wide timekeeping, scheduling, and labor management systems. This role oversees workforce management platforms and associated integrations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimization of processes that support payroll execution and labor efficiency. The Director collaborates across functions to enhance system functionality, lead implementations, manage technical and functional teams, and drive data-informed improvements. This position plays a key leadership role in shared services, with a focus on service delivery, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions
  • Leads a team of analysts, system specialists, and developers responsible for WFM operations, configuration, data integrity, and user support.
  • Oversees implementation, enhancement, and support of WFM technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partners with Payroll, HR, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll cycles and timekeeping accuracy.
  • Develops and maintains operational standards and workflows for time, scheduling, and labor cost control across the organization.
  • Manages prioritization, planning, and execution of enhancement requests, system changes, and issue resolution.
  • Conducts system trend analysis and reporting to support labor optimization, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensures data security, user access protocols, and system performance meet enterprise and regulatory requirements.
  • Supports change management and user adoption strategies for new system features and WFM-related process changes.
  • Contributes to workforce planning strategies, including forecasting, labor modeling, and resource utilization analysis.
  • Participates in or leads enterprise projects and initiatives related to Human Capital Management and system integration.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field required
  • 4-6 years of experience with Kronos Dimensions or UKG Pro required
  • 3-5 years of people leadership experience required
  • Experience supporting or implementing WFM/timekeeping systems across large organizations preferred
  • Experience with Oracle HCM or other ERP platforms preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Deep understanding of WFM systems, labor tracking, and timekeeping operations.
  • Proficiency with UKG and integration platforms such as Boomi.
  • Familiarity with Oracle HCM, SailPoint, and enterprise user provisioning concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate workforce data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive consensus in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficient with Google Suite or similar collaboration tools.
