Job Summary
The Clinical Informatics Systems Adoption Specialist plans and delivers role-based training, facilitates onboarding for new clinicians, and executes detailed readiness activities. With 3-5 years of experience, this role designs session agendas, develops learning content, and runs structured testing scenarios to validate learning impacts. The Specialist partners with clinical leaders, super users, and informaticists to align training with workflow realities and policy requirements. The role analyzes participation and post-training performance to recommend improvements and support adoption. The Specialist is a proactive professional who takes charge of assigned informatics tasks, accurately follows protocols, and identifies better ways to handle routine workflows without being asked.

Essential Functions
- Training Delivery
- Plan and execute comprehensive onboarding across departments with standardized checklists.
- Design and run structured practice scenario validations for high-risk workflows.
- Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and on-demand training aligned to role-based workflows.

- Coordinate onboarding sequences and ensure timely completion of mandatory modules.
- Provide advanced floor support during go-live and stabilization periods
- Curriculum Development
- Develop lesson plans, slides, and job aids; maintain content libraries with clear versioning.
- System & Workflow Expertise
- Document training requirements for upgrades and workflow changes.
- Change Management & Support
- Support change adoption through super user engagement and regular communications.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Track training metrics (attendance, completion) and prepare simple reports.
- Required
- Licensed Clinical Professional (RN, RT, Pharmacy, or similar) OR significant healthcare IT training experience.
- 3-5 years in training, onboarding, clinical informatics education, or related roles.
- Preferred
- Licensed Clinical Professional (RN, LPN, RT, PharmD, or similar)
- Bachelor's in Nursing, Allied Health, Education, or Health Informatics.
- 3-5 years in delivering role-based training and coordinating onboarding programs, participation in go-lives, upgrade training, or workflow change rollouts
- Ability to work effectively in a team with guidance from senior leaders.
- Strong customer service orientation and clear communication skills.
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design basics.
- Proficiency in facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Advanced Understanding of clinical workflows and role-based task sequences
- Ability to design basic assessments and track learning outcomes.
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong written communication and content development skills.
- Willingness to learn adult learning principles and change adoption basics.
- Time management and coordination skills across multiple training events
- Competency with Microsoft 365 and common LMS tools.
- Ability to collaborate with super users and clinical leaders.
