The Supervisor, Accounts Payable is responsible for overseeing daily accounts payable operations within Oracle Cloud ERP, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role manages a team of accounts payable professionals, fosters a high-performance work environment, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Supervisor drives process improvements, supports system optimization, and partners across departments to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.

This role manages a team of accounts payable professionals, fosters a high-performance work environment, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Supervisor drives process improvements, supports system optimization, and partners across departments to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.
Essential Functions
- Supervises and develops accounts payable staff, including setting performance goals, coaching, and conducting evaluations.
- Allocates resources and manages workloads to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Oversees the end-to-end accounts payable process in Oracle Cloud ERP, including three-way match, two-way match, and non-PO transactions.
- Resolves complex or escalated invoice discrepancies, vendor disputes, and payment delays.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
- Reviews processes and controls regularly, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
- Leads initiatives to streamline accounts payable operations, reduce processing time, and improve accuracy, including automation and workflow enhancements.
- Collaborates with IT and ERP teams to optimize Oracle Cloud ERP functionality, integration, and reporting.
- Provides insights to leadership through analysis of accounts payable data and performance metrics.
- Supports internal and external audits by preparing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable activity.
- Partners with procurement, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of accounts payable processes and policies.
- Highschool Diploma or GED Required
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or five (5) years of progressive AP experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounts payable experience in a shared services or multi-entity environment
- 2 to 4 years of experience utilizing imaging and optical character recognition (OCR) technology and automated workflow tools to support invoice processing and approvals
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, or Oracle Cloud ERP, including oversight of end-to-end AP processes within ERP platforms
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Strong Excel Skills (experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, policies, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, workflow automation, and AP reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with vendors, staff, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
